Rothoblaas Structural Noise (Flanking)

Xylofon

APPLICATIONS

• Tested and certified to separate building materials (desolidarisation phenomena and mechanical interruption)
• Suitable for CLT, LVL, steel and concrete
• Applicable with staples, PRIMER SPRAY, DOUBLE BAND
• For soundproofing walls and floors connected with angle brackets

The monolithic polyurethane structure means that the XYLOFON range offers tested acoustic improvement values ranging from 6 dB to over 15 dB.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT XYLOFON? WITH MYPROJECT
For proper wall soundproofing with XYLOFON, the acoustic profile with the right characteristics must be chosen. Using the Acoustics module of the MyProject design software, calculating the appropriate sound insulation for various types of structures (CLT, framed) is easy.

XYLOFON 20 - NEW
It is the range innovation for light structures and low loads with the performance for Mass Timber.
Acoustic load from 0.016 to 0.14 N/mm², also suitable for the insulation of frame buildings, roofs and small floors.
Supply and installation of high-performance resilient profile for soundproofing, type XYLOFON 20.

XYLOFON 35
Suitable for low loads and ideal for application in structures with an acoustic load of 0.038 to 0.32 N/mm².
Suitable for installation between structural elements as it creates a physical-mechanical separation between the two elements, thus preventing the transmission of vibrations caused by impact sound.
To increase the vibration absorption capacity, it is advisable to install the profile both below and above the timber floor.

Install the profile on the upper section of the wall and fix it mechanically with staples every 40/60 cm. Then install the horizontal panel of the floor and repeat the operation.

Supply and installation of high-performance resilient profile for soundproofing, type XYLOFON 35

XYLOFON 50
For medium loads and at the base of small multi-storey floors as it supports acoustic loads from 0.22 to 0.68 N/mm².

Like XYLOFON 35, it is suitable for timber-to-timber installation. It prevents the transmission of vibrations caused by impact noise, especially when laid both below and above the timber floor.
Install the profile on the upper section of the wall and fix it mechanically with staples every 40/60 cm.
Then install the horizontal panel of the floor and repeat the operation.

Supply and installation of high-performance resilient profile for soundproofing, type XYLOFON 50

XYLOFON 70
For medium-high loads and at the base of multi-storey floors as it supports acoustic loads from 0.49 to 1.5 N/mm².
Ideal for absorbing structural vibrations in timber floors.
Install the profile on the upper section of the wall and fix it mechanically with staples every 40/60 cm.
Then install the horizontal panel of the floor and repeat the operation.

Supply and installation of high-performance resilient profile for soundproofing, type XYLOFON 70

XYLOFON 80
For high and low loads and at the base of multi-storey buildings. The maximum applicable load is 19.51 N/mm².
To increase the vibration absorption capacity, it is advisable to install the profile both below and above the timber floor. Install the profile on the upper section of the wall and fix it mechanically with staples every 40/60 cm.
Then install the horizontal panel of the floor and repeat the operation.
Supply and installation of high-performance resilient profile for soundproofing, type XYLOFON 80

XYLOFON 90
For very high loads and at the base of multi-storey buildings or towers. The maximum applicable load is 29.87 N/mm².
Also ideal for vibration absorption in LVL structures.
To increase the vibration absorption capacity, it is advisable to install the profile both below and above the timber floor. Install the profile on the upper section of the wall and fix it mechanically with staples every 40/60 cm. Then install the horizontal panel of the floor and repeat the operation.
